It also helped me learn the names and functions of the positions. However, that doesn't translate to being able to tell what's going on when I watch a television game, unless they show replays, especially slow-motion ones.

Howie explains positions, formation, strategy, rules and penalties along with the terminology. For now, I have a greater understanding and appreciation of the game.
