Summary: Good Manual Can Opener
Comment: Remember, in a power outage, the manual can opener still works, heh. And they are quieter. This one is so much better than the cheap types I've subjected myself to in the past. This one opens cans when I squeeze and turn the finger-friendly handle - that's all I wanted, and that's what I got. Stainless and easy to clean. It looks nice enough to hang up. Very satisfied.

Comment: ...these are the words that immediately popped into my head upon first using this can opener. Whether or not they make sense, the point is that this is an excellent can opener.

Pros:
-It's dishwasher safe (a lot of can openers aren't, apparently).
-It feels solid and well-built.
-Opening a can with it is remarkably smooth and effortless.

Cons:
-None so far.

I originally mulled over whether paying ~$16 for a can opener was ridiculous when there are many cheaper options available. I'm glad I went through with it, though, because I've never used a better can opener in my life and I think it will last a very long time.

Summary: easy to use and works great
Comment: I used to use an electric can opener but it was hard to clean and not dishwasher safe. So I finally ordered this from Amazon a few days ago and I just got it today. Its so easy to use. Easier to clean up and the handles are really soft and smooth, its easy opening up canned food. This was worth the price. I hope to have it for a really long time.

Summary: FANTASTIC CAN OPENER!
Comment: I've been using an ancient swing away for 25 years and it just didn't work anymore. OK, so it didn't owe me anything and worked great for the price but after trying this one by Oxo I didn't know how good a can opener could be. I know, how excited can you be over a can opener after all, it just opens cans right? Well yes thats all it does but it does it so easily and so cleanly it is truly a pleasure to use. It cuts clean and doesn't twist the can dumping liquid all over the counter. I love the handle which protrudes out just enough so you can get a good easy grip and it turns effortlessly. I think this is very well thought out, great product.

Comment: The title of my review says it all: this is the best can opener ever. Each turn is like a little slice of heaven. I don't really know what else to say about it other than it does its job amazingly and I love it.
