Customer Rating: Summary: Works fine Comment: Unbeatable for the price. I cut everything with it, bread, fruit, vegetables... At first there were small residues of metal between the different 'teeth' and I though that it did not come in proper working order. But once you manage to clean that out (which does require a bit of effort), it cuts as it should without leaving any metal residue.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Quality Works for Variety of Breads Comment: I really like this bread knife. It is a large size and feels good in my hands. It is good for slicing a variety of breads. I espeically like the way it doesn't tear loaf breads like banana and zucchini. It is good for delicate quick breads like scones and it works easily on hard rolls. I am pleased with this purchase and I do recommend Henckels products.

Customer Rating: Summary: Really nice bread knife Comment: I purchased this bread knife along with the 3 piece gift set (twin Henckels). This slices through the bread with no effort. I would recommend it. I also love the 3 piece set. Better than any knives I've had. I've only had them for a week, so I don't know how often they'll need sharpening. I am being careful to use the recommended boards and hand washing them.
