Product Description
PYREX glassware is incredibly durable and easy to clean. Unlike earthenware, porcelain or enameled dishes, PYREX glass absorbs, rather than reflects oven heat waves. This speeds the cooking process and helps save energy. It's a durable and practical form of cookware that's easy to clean and attractive to serve with. PYREX glassware products can go directly from refrigerator or freezer to a microwave, convection, or preheated conventional oven. A small amount of liquid should be added to the ovenware vessel prior to baking foods that release liquids while cooking.

PYREX glassware is non-porous glass, so it won't absorb food flavors, odors, or stains.
PYREX glassware is non-reactive, so acid-based recipes, including tomato-based sauces, lemon-infused dishes and vinegar-based poultry sauces can be prepped and baked without affecting the result of the recipe.
Made in America, PYREX glass products are microwave and dishwasher safe.

    Summary: Pleased
Comment: I read the reviews and decided to try it myself. I am glad I did because it has performed as expected. I have always had luck before with Pyrex products, and this was no exception.

Summary: Pyrex exploded in the oven!
Comment: I bought my Pyrex in 2005. Until tonight's dinner, there were no problems. 10 minutes after placing the (room-temperature) Pyrex in the oven, my husband heard an explosion. It had shattered into large pieces, smaller pieces, and hundreds of shards. After researching it on Amazon, we learned that Pyrex made after 1998 is actually manufactured by a different company and the manufacturing standards are not as good. Beware!

    Summary: Perfect Pyrex
Comment: You just can't beat Pyrex for baking. I got this to replace a broken dish that sets inside a wicker basket. Works great!

Summary: An essential dish for every kitchen
Comment: I have only GOOD things to say about this baking dish. I bought one for myself when I got my first apartment. Five years later, and it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. In fact, I had to buy a second one (in blue this time) because I use this so much!

This dish is a good size for making meals for one or two people, as well as side dishes for more, or brownies, etc. It fits nicely in the fridge or freezer for storage, in the microwave for easy reheating, and in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The handles are good sized for easy gripping and looks perfectly at home on a side buffet table at holidays.

For the price, you can't beat this purchase. It is worth so much more than what you will actually spend.
