Customer Rating: Summary: Why don't you already own it? Comment: I've posted a more detailed review on the 7" model, which I also use. Both have their place and both are cheap. Great product. I can't even remember the last person I ran into doing framing that didn't use one.

That seems to be the true calling for this square. Probably would work great for cutting big rafters too but isn't that what a framing square with gauges is for? The seven inch model is much more practical
