    Summary: WindChaser Outdoor Misting Fan
Comment: I was hesitant to order because it was through a outside seller, but it turned out just fine. The order was shipped the same day and the seller sent email updates all along the way. The fan arrived when promised; I'm very pleased.

Summary: a must have if you live in the desert
Comment: My husband loves to BBQ but living in Vegas means you have to endure temperatures well in excess of 100 degrees for all of the summer and much of the spring and fall... but not if you own the WindChaser misting fan. The fan was easy to assemble and works like a charm. You can use it with or without hooking it up to the water hose. When it is hooked up to the garden hose, it is easy to adjust the misting spray and it cools a wide area since the fan circulates.

    Summary: Poor customer service
Comment: My children ordered me a fan for Father's Day for use at our lake home. We put it together in July and the fan did not oscillate. At the children's insistance I later emailed the seller. They basically said it's not our problem, call the manufacter. My children ordered me a new one from a different seller and it works fine. However they paid for two to get one that works.. I hope it holds up. I won't order anything from Ace Photo again.

    Summary: WindChaser Misting Fan Review
Comment: The fan was easy to assemble. It works as desired, though as expected, the tiny water sprayer bits tend to calcify in our hard water. Since the parts are plastic, there is no "metal rattle" common in some metal fans. The fan head rotates from side to side or can be set to hold in a stationary position.

The fan and misting feature provides an excellent source of cooling air mist on a hot summer day (100 degrees plus). Running the misting fan in the garden or on the patio lowers the temperature in the surrounding area significantly. It's easy to turn on the water too hard and end up soaking both guests and furniture - just the tiniest bit of water pressure provides the desired mist and cooled air.

Though not particularly heavy, the fan is awkward to pick up and move. I suggest putting the fan on a wheeled garden pot holder (make sure it's large and sturdy to prevent tipping over).

We've tried various methods for cleaning the misting heads - if you use an oil based lubricant (WD40?), be sure the head is rinsed completely clean to prevent misting your guests with tiny oily bits.
