Summary: Relaxing Christmas Music - Great for Meditation!
Comment: There are 2 groups of people in the world - those who endure Christmas music, and those who long for it. Yes, this is a simplistic generalization, but hey, it serves the purpose for this CD review!
I am in the group that longs for Christmas music. I truly never get tired of the old standards, and my collection far exceeds what I can hear even by listening to music every day from December 1 through New Year's Eve. I love carols, and classical pieces; I love the Messiah and Burl Ives...can't get enough of them!
So you'll understand when I say that Aureole's "Christmas Wishes" is a joy and a delight, something I can listen to as I go about my holidays, something to play as background during holiday parties...music to enjoy as a direct listening experience or just as a calming voice while other things take center stage.
The music is wonderful to listen to while doing Yoga or meditating, and I even use it while doing Reiki! It's spiritual without being religious, light and joyful without being pretentious, and extremely well recorded, so the sound quality is flawless.
A hearty recommendation from a true lover of Christmas music. Buy this CD -- you won't be disappointed!
