Summary: more trouble than it's worth
Comment: I spent more time untangling my 100' extension cord from this reel than I've ever spent untangling my cord w/o it. By the time I finally got the cord untangled, the reel had cracked. It wasn't worth the hassle.

Comment: Nice reel. I was able to get 100' of 12/3 on it without a problem. The winding handle does want to fold while your winding, but it's not a problem if you pay attention to what you're doing. I'm going to order some more.

Comment: It is very great product but the design is not that perfect.
When you use it(pull out or real back), the "head" of cord is twisting. It won't hurt your cord, only if you take it out from outlet.

Summary: Better than expected
Comment: This is a very well designed product. 1.) The reel comes with two "hooks", that when screwed to a wall, allow you to easily and securely hang the reel on The Wallb with the crank facing in either direction. Additional hook sets may be ordered. 2.) The crank handle folds into the crank arm, reducing storage space. 3.) A clever design allows access to the "inside" end of the cord. Five stars!
