    Summary: not just for food prep
    Comment: I have three sizes of the Pyrex mixing bowls (Pyrex Prepware 3-Piece Mixing Bowl Set, Clear). They nest nicely and fit well in cabinet. Not too heavy, which is good for holding in one hand while scraping batter or dough out of bowl. Recommend getting lids, because these are nice for serving bowls as well as food prep, and would be handy to go straight to fridge for food storage.     Comment: This bowl is perfect for marinading meat and such. It is roomy and easy to clean, and I suspect that it will last a life time if it is not dropped. These things are available at Walmart, so take a look there first if you are not sure.

    Comment: I love the weight of this bowl. I use this bowl for mixing,serving and storing large quantities of leftovers. I am a fan of clear bowls. This 4 quart Pyrex Prepware bowl handles all of my baking, mixing,serving and storage needs. I plan to order additional Pyrex Prepware.

    Comment: I just love it ! Great quality and really big ! It is not very heavy so it's easy to move around and turn while you mix but it is also stable enough and does not move all over the counter. Great value too !
