    Comment: Vegetable Basewhen i first bought this product at heb or randalls ,it wasn't a sauce ,so i bought this product,then i get it and its sauce,don't like it as well, but i used it anyway, it is good but not the same,taste did change,if i had to buy it again,i would.

    Summary: NO MSG?
    Comment: Even I was fooled into buying this organic vegetable paste (made from seasoned, concentrated vegetables with no MSG!). Autolyzed yeast paste (the third ingredient) IS MSG. Also soy sauce (the fifth ingredient) contains MSG, also autolyzed yeast extract (the ninth ingredient) is MSG, and the seventh ingredient, natural flavor, can include MSG. Basically you think you are buying a healthy organic product with no MSG when in fact you are buying MSG (with a few healthy vegetables mixed in). It is criminal to be able to market this product as having no MSG. When is health going to take precedence over profit? Shame on us.

    Summary: Just like their beef variety, careful of the saltiness!
    Comment: Unable to get to a health products store, I got Better than Bullion vegetable base and the beef base. Both are way too salty if you are watching your daily recommended sodium intake it is listed at 21 percent for the beef variety (reduced sodium) and 30 percent for the vegetable base. It makes me wonder if there other products are this way too.

    It is something to consider and I've found powdered vegetable broths to be much more friendly in terms of low sodium.

    Comment: I love all their bases: chicken, veg, mushroom and beef. Use sparingly, they are salty but so concentrated you don't need much. Keeps great in the frig.

    Comment: I have used this product now for a number of years. If you do alot of cooking and always need vegetable or chicken stock, this is all natural, no MSG(like alot of broths on the shelves), and is fantastic!!!!! You only need 1 tsp. for 8oz. water,so its a great deal! Think about switching, you'll be glad you did,I promise!
