Customer Rating: Summary: Catalina Lighting Fixture Comment: The lighting fixture is nice. However, it would have been even nicer if it also came in white.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very satisfied Comment: The lamp is as advertised and shipped immediately. I placed a cfc bulb in it and the lamp drooped from the weight. A regular bulb worked perfectly. The arm extensions move every direction for pinpoint delivery of light.
Customer Rating: Summary: Swing Arm 75 Watt Desk Lamp Comment: The lamp was functional and appeared as shown in the illustration. The assembly was simple. The on/off switch was poor, it was difficult to switch the light on but easy to switch it off. It is a less than optimum on/off switch.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not a strong swing arm Comment: Using normal incandescant light blubs this lamp is great. However try to put a compact fluorescent blub in it and the lamp want to sink to the tabletop. Tightening the thumb nuts until they break off will not overcome this problem.

The quality is like it used to be 30 years ago. The design is the older design where the light doesn't come out of the top part of the lamp (the newer design does that). Shipping was great and package well. You will be pleased.
