Customer Rating: Summary: Oregon Trail 5th edition Comment: I purchased 2 of these games to give as prizes. They camed within a timely manner, however the jewel case on one was cracked. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun somewhat educational game Comment: My 8 year old son, who is in 3rd grade, played it in school. He wanted it so we bought it. We had him read the guide before he could play it. I read it also and I learned a few things also, such as the advantages and disadvantages of various draught animals, the pace of travel so as not to overwork the animals, the type of wagon most suitable for the trail, etc. One of the minuses is that "OT5.exe" file on my copy was old and had a bug in it (the file was dated 2001). It wouldn't run until I found a newer file over the Internet and used it instead.
