Summary: Safety Hazard
Comment: There is a serious safety hazard with this driver. The short length allows the operator to raise the driver high enough to disengage with the top of the post. If the edge of the bottom of the driver then lands on top of the post the weighted top of the driver with be pulled in a 90 degree arc downward toward the operator's head with sufficient force to cause injury requiring emergency medical attention (sutures, concussion, neck injury). DO NOT use this device without a hardhat. Use with extreme caution.

Otherwise the driver works reasonable well for driving T-posts and round plastic posts where soil conditions permit.

Summary: The ID dimension is incorrect
Comment: The design is pretty much standard, as far as post drivers go but if you are considering a purchase you would do well to note the shorter 23" pipe length (many other drivers are 36" long) which corresponds to a shorter max stroke (meaning a lot more pounding might be necessary). However my real gripe with this one is the Inside Diameter that is stated to be 2-7/8". For my particular needs I required at least a 2-3/4" diameter or larger, so this driver should have worked. But it didn't! The true inside diameter is a little less than 2-3/4" which is then made worse by the shape not being fully round, but instead being a bit flatten on the welded side. So the largest diameter I could find was just short of 2-3/4" and in places it was reduced to less than 2-3/8". So beware! if the inside diameter is important for your purposes.
