Comment: I have never received my magazine order that I placed through Amazon. I actually thought they wouth be faster than filling out a paper form and mailing it in to the order house but I was wrong! I ordered this way back in the beginning of August and we're almost in October and there's no sign of Paula Deen coming to my mailbox. I will never order a magazine through Amazon again.

Summary: Nice but too expensive for what you get
Comment: I love watching Paula Deen and have most of her cookbooks. I subscribed to her magazine last year and while I did enjoy it, I will not subscribe again. I have a rule of thumb. I try not pay over $12 for a one year(meaning 10- 12 issues)subscription. Paula's magazine although nice is too much money for what you get and that is 6 issues a year for nearly $20. The magazine seems to be an extension to me of Southern Lady Magazine. There are recipes but I wish there were more and I wish there were 10-12 issues at a better price. If you are looking for a great magazine on the Southern Lifestyle for a good price go with Southern Living. You get the recipes, travel info, lifestyle just to name a few and it's a full 12 month subscription.

Comment: As always I received a timely response on the renewal to this subscription. Looking SO forward to more recipes, as well as receiving such a worthwhile magazine.

Comment: I bought this for my mother-in-law. She loves Paula Deen. I don't know anything about the magazine but I ordered it a couple of weeks before Christmas and they informed me she wouldn't be getting her subscription until March. That is totally ridiculous.
