Customer Rating: Summary: Ok, but not the best. Comment: The iHome Desk Lamp with Surround Sound Speakers and iPod/mp3 dock sounds like a great product when buying it online, but when it arrived to our home it just wasn't enough. The "surround sound" is totally limited. This lamp will only function well in a very, very small room. If the surround sound had functioned better I would have given this product five stars.

And one of the prevoius reviews was correct the volume controls on the base don't seem to work so don't lose the remote since it the only way to turn the volume up and down. All in all a good solution for work for light and music.
