Summary: Good Shredder Value For Your $$$
Comment: I selected this product after looking around at different companies shredders. My old shredder which I had for 9 years finally wore out. I use shredders for my home to destroy bank statements, receipts, etc - I am not really a heavy user. I was looking for a couple of specific features my old one did not have - a bin that could be removed without touching the shredder assembly itself, on wheels so I could move it around my office, a reverse/anti jam feature, and a quieter motor. Cross cut shredding was VERY important and the shredder had to be small in size - but my old one had these features.
There are larger shredders out there but this is working well for me now - I have had it 3-4 weeks. Like I said, I am not a heavy user so the bin has not filled up yet. It is very quiet, has not jammed even though I have challended it a couple of times!
I picked Fellowes brand since they are in the "Shredder Business" - you can save some money buying third party machines like "staples brand" but I figured I would have this machine for a long time and I liked the feedback from other people who had problems and the Fellowes made returns/replacement straightforward - no hassles. For a few extra dollars I am buying peace of mind.
