Summary: Palm makes good PDAs but phones ???.........
Comment: Long time Palm PDA user - I am biased in favor of Palm products.
My work issued me a Palm Centro 3 months ago.
The product is barely tolerable.
Screen is sharp but too small.
Keyboard is so small, it is barely usable.
The worst by far is the Palm OS. The Palm OS is a basic operating
system meant to handle simpler things; it has the nasty habit of
freezing for 3,4,5... seconds and then catching up so if you're
trying to answer your phone, you might also be placing the caller on hold
because you tapped one too many times......
I lose about 1/3 of my calls this way.
I have no choice but to keep the unit but if I were paying for it,
well, I would not.
Battery life with a bluetooth is 1 day (right out of the box).
The best thing about this phone is the size.
It fits easily in most pockets.
