Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: I used this board for my kids as a tool for learning at home. Its durable and easy to use. I wash it with water when it becomes too dirty with no problem. It has the traditional texture of chalk boards used in my time. Love this product!!!! cant believe i went so long without one. I would recommend it to anyone. Its defiantly a bargan for the price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Chalkboard for kitchen Comment: This really is what they say it is. You can stick, unstick and restick in a breeze. We bought two sets and made a weekly calendar with notes in our kitchen, not only is it practical, we receive many compliments on it. Such a good price too-- and less permanent than chalkboard paint which we've done before. We love these!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not much better than paper Comment: This is pretty much just plastic paper. It will only stick to a very smooth surface and every imperfection in the base surface will be noticeable. It is incorrect to describe this as a 'chalkBOARD'
Customer Rating: Summary: Great alternative to expensive wooden chalkboards! Comment: We purchased this item to use in a learning center for our toddler. He uses it fine and chalk writes on this product just like a regular chalkboard (maybe even better). The peel and stick works well and our son as not figured out how to peel it off The Wallb yet. You will need two packs to create the board design shown in the picture. We purchased 2 and it makes the perfect size chailboard. Hope you like this product as much as we do.
Customer Rating: Summary: Better than the contact paper, but significantly more expensive Comment: Great product! I also bought this product: Chalkboard Contact Paper, 18" x 6'. The Peel & Stick Chalkboard is thicker than the Contact Paper (thicker is better when it comes to chalkboards). It's also easier to remove and reapply, and the black is a nicer "chalkboard" black. But it is also significantly more expensive, and you'll probably want more than one pack to fill whatever area you're thinking of filling (the picture is misleading with respect to the size of the panels). You decide.
