Customer Rating: Summary: Worst phone ever! Comment: Outside noise is all I can hear when on conversations. Also, when pressing options for recording the phone doesn't pick it up. Worst phone money can buy. So incredibly frustrating.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't buy this phone Comment: We purchased this phone/answering system less than a year ago and I am ready to throw it out the window. The handsets are erratic - sometimes picking up the caller ID - sometimes not. Even when fully charged it is random as to whether the handset will work when picked up to dial a number. We have to go through the house trying the different handsets until we get lucky and find one that works. I could not be less satisfied with a product. I made the mistake of buying it in a store without researching. I will do my homework next time.
Customer Rating: Summary: worked for 2 months Comment: This phone worked fine for 2 months. Now it does not ring when a call is coming in and the answering machine does not work. I have been in contact with Uniden. I have waited about a half hour for help, then have to hang up and try their solutions. So far nothing has worked. I am about to give up and buy another phone.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works Flawlessly... Comment: I have had this phone for a little over three months - works terrific. I have no issues with walking outside, downstairs and even outside while talking on it. Ive had Uniden phones for about 15 years and have never encountered a junk unit. This one works just as advertised and as expected. I say give it a try.
Customer Rating: Summary: Spend a little more.. Comment: I bought this phone because of the price and I needed my phones replaced after they were blown out in a electrical storm. While these phones do the purpose, they are not as strong. My previous phone I could walk outside and use it way out in the backyard. This phone, however, is full of static when I get outside the door. I have changed the channel soo many times to try to clear it up. I would not recommend this phone for use outside, however, if you just need a phone for the inside.. this one is ok.
