Summary: Best 2-line DECT 6.0 so far
Comment: This handset works with the SE6591B/17 base. You may want to look at the reviews for the base also.
Pros:
1. Sound quality is exceptional: clear with no distortion.
2. sound volume is exceptional.
3. Range is great.
4. All the buttons light up unlike the competitors' products.
5. Phone directory and caller ID log are maintained on the base so there is just one copy to manage and it is shared by each handset.
6. Date and time are updated automatically from the caller ID information.
Cons:
1. Display could be larger.
2. There is a slight delay after pressing a number key before the phone responds to it.
3. The intercom function displays a list of available handsets by handset number, not by assigned name. You have to know where the handsets are by number; not useful if you have more that, say, 3 handsets.
4. There is no "All" choice on the intercom.
You will have to evaluate the cons for relevancy to your requirements.
Over all, I still give it 5 stars, especially for voice quality, range and function.
