For me, Panasonic telephones get rave reviews...ordinarily. For some reason, although I know the phones are fantastic (I have two of them already), the extension phone with this particular model does not register on the Caller ID feature! This is rather frustrating to me because, as I said, Panasonic makes a great cordless telephone! So instead of the usual five stars, I'm only giving it two this time!
Customer Rating: Summary: Junk Comment: I bought one of these things directly from Panasonic. One of the units would not take a charge so I returned it. It was replaced with a reconditioned unit, which did not work. I'm tired of sending things back, and the sound quality is pretty bad anyway, so I'm going to junk the thing and try to find something better, which should not be difficult.
Customer Rating: Summary: Panasonic digital cordless phone, great upgrade Comment: We recently bought the Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable cordless phone. It was a great upgrade for us. We had an old V-tech that I was not ready to get rid of, but it finally died after 8 years or so. The new phone has great sound, and when my husband and I are both on the phone at the same time, talking to our kids, the volume of all the voices is the same. On the old phone we had to turn the cordless volume way down or hold the handset away from our ears when the other person in the house was on the corded phone. No longer. Now we have to wait and see how the batteries do. I can leave the handset off the charger for 2 days with normal use and the charge indicator shows I still have a lot of charge time left. I haven't wanted to let it get totally discharged, but I may do that just to see how long it can go between chargings.

The phone has a speakerphone on each handset and intercom between sets which is awesome. The one thing its missing is a answer machine however I didn't need it and knew this when I bought it. With a lot of phone companies offering voicemail you will need answer machines less.
