    Summary: As Advertised
Comment: I have had the Garmin for a few months now - it performs very well with the exception of one hole on my home course where the distances are off. Ease of use is excellent - turn it on and go. I am getting about 2 1/2 rounds out of the batteries - might be worth the investment to get a rechargeable unit. A friend had a Sky Caddie at another local course and the course was not mapped - we used my unit. All in all very happy with the purchase - has really helped my short iron game.

    Summary: better than a caddie!
Comment: What a great gadget! Instant yardages on course without the caddie (or me) taking 3 minutes to flip through the yardage book or having to take out the "gun" from its holster, aim & wait for the yardage to come on screen. Yardage to hazards & doglegs automatically come on screen. As you walk down the fairways, the yardage is updated with each step you take - amazing!
Tons of courses available online plus some courses that SkyCaddie does not have.

    Summary: GOLFLOGIX CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!!!
Comment: I got the unit for my birthday and it worked really well my first 3 rounds. All the sudden the unit locked up and wouldn't scroll through the holes or turn off at all. I called GolfLogix customer service VERY frustrated. They logged on my computer right away, did some technical mumbo jumbo, and it has worked perfectly ever since. All in five minutes! It's nice to know even though a product can have problems that they care enough to fix it right away!

    Summary: Garmin GolfLogix
Comment: My Garmin GolfLogix is my second device for golf. I have owned a SkyCaddie for about two years and after spending over $100 per year on it,decided to try something else. The GolfLogix is easier to use and vastly superior in several ways. Simple to get the courses I want on it; simple to use and accurate. And unlike SkyCaddie ($60), the batteries are cheap. Garmin makes a great product.
